Job Purpose:

Senior HR Generalist will be responsible to support HRBP partnering with affiliates/business in enabling strategic people agenda through wide range of hands-on experience of HR initiatives and tasks.

 

Senior HR Generalists are responsible for supporting our affiliates/businesses’ HRBPs in executing human resources activities and ensuring smooth operational excellence. The Senior HR Generalist for ABSAP and AITS is required to assist HRBP in managing key stakeholders, helping to organize and execute full fledge HR activities such as manpower planning, employee relations and end to end recruitment process. Additionally, the Senior HR Generalist will need to collaborate with Employee Services & Well-Being and Strategy and People Development team on training and development, compensation and benefits as well as talent management. Senior HR Generalist also involved in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, as well as providing guidance and support to managers and employees.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead initiatives (under supervision) - process owners in driving improvements (study current processes, streamline and provide recommendations and adapt new changes/improvements) of overall TA processes, onboarding process, new employee experience, employment brand and candidate experience.

 

  • Focal points and execute global/local programs and initiatives under the sponsorship of HR CoEs - DE&I / Global Mobility / EVP / Employment Brand (i.e. social media presence from Talent Acquisition perspective)

 

  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies

 

  • Market mapping organizations for identification of passive talent in line with Amway’s talent pipelines for future hiring needs of assigned country/affiliate § Research trends in staffing industry and promote modern talent acquisition & best practices.

 

  • Responsible for the entire stage of pre-hire processes ranging from source, attract, recruit.
    • Responsible to source potential and passive candidates through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, and relationship building to quickly deliver a high-quality candidate pipeline.
    • On assigned market/affiliate, partner and conduct recruitment strategy discussions with Hiring Managers to ensure a complete understanding of the job requirements and qualifications needed to assume the role, and meet hiring goals, expectations and dynamic business needs.
    • Conduct interviews/screenings to shortlist potential candidates and recommend hiring managers for assigned level of positions.
    • Prepares and maintains standard and ad hoc reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
    • Promote and support data driven talent acquisition approach.
    • Responsible for conducting pre-onboarding, new hire’s orientation (welcome new hires & check documents for payroll submission) and onboarding programs in alignment with global standards and in partnership with assigned country/affiliate.
  • Assist in implementing human resources programs by providing support and services to HRBP in day-to-day matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring employees data and records are up-to-date and confidential.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date talent acquisition and manpower planning budget and records.
  • Provide support to employees in various transactional HR-related topics and queries such as training and development, leaves and compensation and highlight any potential issues that may arise.
  • Assist in onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations.
  • Assist in facilitating Employee Culture Survey and organize employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities.
  • Assist in managing performance reviews, retention activities, and handling individual and organizational development as well as succession planning.
  • Support HRBP in providing services and solutions to employee relations matters, appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.
  • Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.

 

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and/or Related Experience:

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment as External or Internal recruiter.
  • Proven experience in hiring for Technology and having a high-volume recruitment coordination background is a plus.
  • Good networking, strong customer focus and relationship building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrates sound understanding of recruitment and local talent market, sourcing tools, interviewing, evaluation & assessment process and selection techniques which will support the execution and administration of talent acquisition processes and activities supporting markets in the region
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization with diplomacy,confidentiality and professionalism
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good time management – which allows you to manage your own time and meet tight deadlines even under time pressure
  • Ability to work independently with supervision
