Amway, is the global leader in direct selling, and at the forefront of our success, are the fine products, from which our Independent Business Owners (IBO’s), build their businesses.  The California Business Center is a location established on our Buena Park, CA campus within the Center of Optimal Health, to help our Amway IBO’s grow their business, using the location for meetings, training, education and the sales of our products and brands.  The team based at this location, provide support for our West Coast IBO’s, acting as both Amway ambassadors, consultants and educators around the product and brand.  Center hours are predominantly Monday – Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The Business Center staff helps IBO’s promote the business opportunity, lead educational workshops, and provide education for products and programs that assist the IBO in selling products and building their Amway business.   Your ability to lead and influence the Center’s environment, lead staff, and support IBOs will be highly valued.


How you would contribute to the role:


In this role, you would manage a very unique function, bringing variety and challenge to every day!   Leading this Business Center will involve, heavy focus on the Amway Independent Business Owner (IBO), working with senior level IBO leaders, to support their growth goals by creating a supportive and educational environment at the Business Center.  You will lead a staff of 15 – 20, who provide product education and workshops, acting as Amway brand specialists and selling support.  Sales are a vital component of the Center’s operations, and you will be responsible for all retail operations, along with facility operations, delivering seamless oversight for facility management.  Your leadership will impact a broad audience, including staff, Amway IBO’s, and the guests who are invited to the location.  If you are a leader of people, who is interested in a role offering broad exposures, and daily impact, this role may be perfect for you!  


What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Three to five years’ experience leading staff in a retail or customer service setting with proven success of building strong teams
  • Spanish Bilingual skills required (written, conversational, and presentation)
  • Must demonstrate initiative, confidence, strong making and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated Sales and Customer Service experience
  • Ability to present to groups (public speaking at events)
  • Flexible scheduling.  Ability to work second shift most days, including Saturdays with some first shift availability
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
