Job Title: Front Line Leader I-III - 2nd Shift (Plastics)

Department / Division: Manufacturing/ Access Business Group, LLC.

What’s special about this job:

The Plastics Plant manufactures and produces screen printed plastic products that support multiple operations across Amway Manufacturing. This high-volume plant provides the opportunity to learn, develop, and grow into multiple skillsets across a variety of roles with training and development opportunities available. This versatile environment allows you to flow-to-work as needed, keeping up moving and engaged. As a Frontline Leader in the plant, you will be a part of a collaborative team, learning all aspects of the plant’s operations. The schedule for this position will work on 2nd shift, 3:00pm – 11:00pm (Monday - Friday). This position may require scheduling flexibility to train on 1st shift (7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday) for the first week.  


How you would contribute to the role:  

In this important role, your leadership skills will be crucial in the successful operation of this highprofile plant. You will be part of a collaborative and high-efficiency team focused on the success within all aspects of the operation. Your proactive planning and strong communication skills will be valued as you oversee the operation, schedule teams, and operate the work center with excellence. You will be an integral part of ensuring the operation is successful by directing staff to workflows, aiding with trouble-shooting, and coaching members in a skill development system. Your manufacturing experience will be appreciated as you assist in setting the direction for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assist with training and development, and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment amongst the team.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead and direct the work of others, organize work groups, and plan and prioritize the work of self and others to drive results with high learning ability and a growth mindset approach

• Displayed talent and willingness to train, direct, and ensure accuracy and efficiency of team’s work with ability to coach, mentor, motivate, provide feedback, and handle conflict resolution with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations • Capacity to work both autonomously and in a team setting in a fast-paced environment  

• Skills to logically think through and understand process and production requirements with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead with proactive communication with individuals on the team in a cooperative, constructive, and positive manner

• Capability to interface with customers and provide excellent customer service

• Experience and adept with MS Office as well as the following applications preferred: JDE, DC Link, CAC, EtQ

• Strong attention to detail, ability to problem-solve and take initiative with a desire to develop and lead people

• High school diploma
