What’s special about this team:

The Customer Experience Analytics Center of Excellence is responsible for providing advanced analytics and consultation to the Amway organization.  This collaborative team provides the Enterprise with Customer Experience and Portfolio analytics. As the Manager – Customer & Portfolio Analytics, you will lead a team of 5 Analysts who are responsible for the analytical assessment of portfolio performance and customer experience. 

 

Primarily supporting Corporate Marketing, you and your team will provide advanced analysis of initiatives, programs and strategies.  If you have an interest in advancing analytics and creating best analytical methods across the globe, this could be an opportunity for you.

 

How you would contribute to the role:

In addition to leading your team, you will set the vision and strategy for future advanced analytics tools, techniques and methods to continue to develop the team’s capabilities and output.  Another focus will be to move the team from descriptive analytics into predictive and prescriptive models.  This will include partnering with other sources of insights (Digital Insights, Data Science, Market Research) to deliver greater holistic perspectives on the business. 

 

You will also help deploy KPI’s for the team to track, such as Customer Life-time Value, NPS and churn rates.  Blending qualitative and quantitative metrics, you and your team will provide insights to executive leadership that will be used to direct strategy development. 

 

What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a role requiring understanding of data and interpretation of trends
  • Experience with Customer Experience analytics
  • Prior experience leading a team of Analysts, with the ability to mentor, teach and coach.
  • Preference for experience with different analytical tools
    • Data Query – SQL Developer, DBeaver, Toad
    • Data Wrangling - Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Tibco DV
    • Visualization - Tableau, PowerBI
    • Reporting - Tableau, ThoughtSpot
    • Knowledge of R, Python and statistical modeling would be a plus.
  • Experience delivering insights for clients across levels from peers to exec leadership
  • BS degree in Analytical Sciences, Statistics, Business, Finance, Mathematics or a related field
