This small but mighty team functions to promote the Amway opportunity, products and brands through social media activities targeted at the Amway North America markets.   At the center of their work, they seek to advance our amazing Amway products and brands through compelling consumer-focused social media content, social influencers, public relations, and content.  This is a creative, energized team, working with a customer-centric strategy to help create positive first impressions of our health and beauty products.  You will be part of a tradition of freedom, family, hope and reward paired with innovation in social that engages customers and enables Independent Business Owners (IBOs) to build online and offline communities and commerce.


How you would contribute to the role:

If you would thrive contributing to social media strategy, sharing the amazing Amway story and promoting our strong products and brands through social media channels, this role may be for you!  In this new role you will be focused on social media channel content and community management, helping to determine what content we create to deploy on our brand channels.  Working with a strong agency partner, your role will be focused on planning and developing social content and strategies to engage customers and build community around our health and beauty brands.   Additionally, you will lead social influencer activations, which is a cool element of the role, involving limited travel supporting influencer events.  You will also guide the social media approach for new product launches and brand building, leading content creation and content management.   Your knowledge of social media, social influencers, and social analytics will help us deliver content that creates conversation and interest in our products and brands, ultimately impacting IBO success and company growth!


What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Minimum six years’ experience in a role focused on social media and/or digital communications
  • Proficiency with social and digital technology in a business environment
  • Understanding of social influencers
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying social analytics
  • Corporate or agency social media  experience managing brand or corporate social pages
  • Creative talent to provide new and fresh content and ideas for social strategies
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams to deliver solutions
  • Talent to communicate across cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience managing agency partnerships and/or directing projects with outside partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital or a related field
