Job Title:          Senior Training Specialist (Instructional Design)

Department/ Division:  Leader Growth Solutions (LGS) Training/ Global Sales

The Global Leader Growth Solutions (LGS) Training team works very closely with account management team in our global markets to create programs that support our LGS Account Managers to achieve their goals.   On this team you will work directly with internal stakeholders to understand their learning needs, research solutions, develop and deliver learning solutions.   This is an exciting role for someone who has led training development in a business setting, and now wants to share their expertise on a broader global platform!

If you would enjoy a role designing and developing leading-edge learning solutions in a global environment, this opportunity will provide broad exposures!  This role applies the knowledge of instructional design with the art and discipline of project management on a global scale.  You will be creating learning solutions using various modalities for Amway Sales staff to build their capabilities with our Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) around the globe, allowing them to achieve new levels of success.  This position will advance learning projects through needs analysis, project scoping, and high-level design, leading execution with vendors partners on design detail and development, through the delivery of the learning solution.  You will be responsible to guide internal and external communication with stakeholders, vendors, leadership, trainers, and subject matter experts to ensure effective project execution. Additionally, you will facilitate live training events, helping with the delivery of multiple learning workshops globally as needed (up to 20% of the time).


What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Minimum six years developing instructor led and/ or e-learning solutions in a corporate setting
  • Ability to travel globally up to 20%
  • Background leading training projects from needs assessment and high-level objectives through final delivery that aligns with project deliverables
  • Background guiding sales or business training objectives using a variety of learning delivery modalities. 
  • Experience leading vendor partnerships, providing vision, project plans, scope, and schedule guiding learning strategies to completion
  • Experience developing mobile training and e learning solutions with a portfolio of technology-based learning projects completed
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas succinctly
  • Bachelor’s degree (MA preferred) in Instructional Design or Learning & Development
