Job Title: Training Systems Leader (1st Shift)

What’s special about this job:
Our Manufacturing Division has decided to place permanent Training Systems Leaders into our plants. Manufacturing’s motto is “Safely Delivering a Consistent Supply of Cost Competitive, Quality Products”, and in this role, you will drive your plant towards doing just that. As the Training System Leader, you will own the plant’s Training System, and will be responsible for identifying improvements, implementing improvements, and bringing standardization to plant training and documentation.
How you would contribute to the role:
In this role, you will own, develop and maintain the plant’s Skill Development System (SDS) and Training System. You will partner with your peer group to ensure division-wide consistent SDS/Training standards. You will create, revise and implement standard work and other controlled documents for plant operation. In addition, you will partner with the Leadership Team to perform skill gap assessment and collaborate to create training plans to address these gaps. This position will work on 1st shift, with the hours being from 7:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday along with required flexibility to work occasional night shifts and weekends.
What skills and background will be important to be successful:
- 1 to 3 years of experience creating and supporting documents and training. Manufacturing environment experience is preferred
- General knowledge of collecting data and tracking metrics
- Preferred proficiency in Training Systems such as Compliance Wire, ETQ, PLM, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with leadership, crew leaders, team members and peers
- High School diploma
