We’re looking for an Art Director for our premium Personal Care brand.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for the creative look for all brand content, both in-house and with agency partners. You will work with a team of associates, agencies and freelance creative resources to produce compelling creative work both internally and externally. A candidate with strong capabilities in digital/social is a must.

Join a team within Amway global marketing that develops and supports the execution of creative strategies for our business owners and their customers. We lead global, multi-platform marketing campaigns in close partnerships with Brand Marketing and Affiliate Markets ensure the output is highly innovative, effective and differentiated.

 

The work provides an opportunity to partner with Brand Marketing in assuring the creative content meets strategy and global marketing goals for the brand. You will ensure the brand identity is aligned and cohesive across all customer touchpoints, internally and externally across the globe. Our efforts culminate in providing Amway Business Owners (ABOs) with communication tools that help fuel opportunities to engage customers and sell our products.

In the Art Director role, you will inspire and produce phenomenal creative work whether in-house, with freelancers or with an agency. Establishing a strong connection with the global agency will be critical to driving the creative vision for the brand. You will establish imagery standards for the brand providing concept and creative to ensure the brand identity is aligned and cohesive across all customer touchpoints around the globe.The creative vision should be well aligned to brand strategy . Strong strategic thinking, creative thinking, communication skills, sense of design aesthetics, attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional creative works are necessary to this job.

 

Your skillset will balance multiple, often competing, stakeholder priorities to ensure the right business decisions are made relative to the sub-category portfolio.   

 

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years in creative art direction, with both in-house and agency experience desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications or a related discipline
  • Expert knowledge in one or more creative disciplines related to Art Direction and Visual Communications
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (possibly 15%-20%)
  • Working in a hybrid role on and off campus with some flexibility.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Strong conceptual thinker and advanced knowledge of aesthetic principles
  • Knowledgeable of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and how to execute creative trends on each, and stay aware of the ever-changing social platform creative updates
  • Strong background in social and digital, video, broadcast, print, etc. demonstrating success
  • Ability to bring creative ideas to execution in social, supervising photoshoots, retouching, etc.
  • Proficiency with: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Acrobat
  • Background delivering materials with adherence to technical requirements, budget, schedule and production goals
  • Talent to lead brand art and style standards within the brand
  • Advanced knowledge of graphic design, color, composition, fonts, and design theory
  • Thorough working knowledge of photography and photographic production processes
  • Background/exposures working with global markets desired, but not mandatory
  • Experience leading external resources (designers, photographers, videographers, etc.)
  • Skilled in leading creative on smaller scale content shoots and social productions (ideation, coordination, agency and
