The team is looking for an experienced marketer, who has worked on or across multiple core disciplines: Marketing, Sales, Technology and with Business Owners; at a Multi-National Direct Selling Organization.  This individual should have experience leading both products and non-product solutions (such as communication programs) ‘Go-To-Market’ and demonstrated strong project leadership, problem solving, marketing, analytics and communication skills.

The Global Marketing Program Team leads Amway’s Global Program Investments by partnering directly with markets to deliver compelling ‘Go-To-Market’ Plans and activities; providing goal-based customer and business owner experiences that encompass lifestyles, business opportunity and Product.  This agile team is tasked with delivering competitively differentiated programs and program frameworks to all 100 Amway Markets.  This Program Team is accountable for Amway’s global program investment which is shaping the future product portfolio, branding, and content direction for the company.  This team works heavily with cross functional partners such as Sales, Technology, Supply Chain, Strategy and with the markets to help our business owner grow their business through customer sales.

 

What’s special about this role:

 

Your role will be to:

  • Supports the development of global business plans that deliver breakthrough growth, including annual category plans, 3 year LRBP’s and ten-year long range marketing plans.  Provide direction to Regions that drives Region Marketing plans. 
  • Lead the development and execution of fitness social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Supports the establishment of the marketing strategic direction for Programs globally that will inform cross-functional efforts related to Product Development, Packaging Engineering, Tech Reg, Supply Chain, Finance, Project Management, Sales, Special Events, Digital Services, and Communications, etc.  
  • Support the development of a strategy that initiates & expands Fitness in terms of brand positioning and new product portfolio, packaging, and communications.  Includes both launching multiple top-10 global markets as well as new categories and product portfolio. 
  • Collaborates with other social media teams to identify how all Amway brands can amplify one another to drive sustainable ABO success through Program, which includes defining social targets owned by each brand, global social media content calendars, and communication guard rails (brand visuals and endorsement branding) for each brand. 
  • Partner with Affiliate sales and marketing teams to execute strategies in market.
  • Leads the Development and execution of a global Ambassador program.
  • Designs, Develops and/or supports all specific Program marketing execution including global events, virtual & in-person experiences.
  • Develop and maintain a global short-term and long-term content strategy for Programs that leverage input from all market partners and connects with our target audience.
  • Lead the execution of the Content Strategy in partnership with the Partner Agency
  • Leads Portfolio category strategy and planning for the Program category segment
  • Supports the development of global business plans that deliver breakthrough growth, including annual category plans, 3-year LRBP’s and ten-year long range marketing plans.  Supports the Product Portfolio direction to Regions that drives Region Marketing plans. 
  • Tailors the Go-to-market approach to make relevant products and experiences feel exclusive to the Program category segment
  • Implement marketing execution that is amplified via digital and social platforms
  • Collaborate with all Program teams (if applicable) to identify how all Amway brands can amplify one another to drive sustainable ABO success, which includes defining targets owned by each brand, establishment of an initial Program category product pannier with existing portfolio and long-term innovation product pannier, and communication of guard rails (brand visuals and endorsement branding) for each brand.
  • Manage a global Program Portfolio Pannier and Launch Calendar for all Amway Markets
  • Collaborate and guide global markets with product and integrated program launches
  • Develop and Manage a Pricing Model for Program Products Globally including guardrails on BV/DC ratio, DC, SR and CMAB%.
  • Lead the competitive benchmarking of Category Program Products globally including pricing, consumer needs/values/beliefs trends, product profiles inclusive of core products and potential adjacent spaces.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience within Marketing or Sales Roles
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects requiring marketing competency and leadership
  • Demonstrated experience with Product Development, Market Research, Agency Partnership and Global Communication
  • BS degree in Marketing or Related Field

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Direct Selling Business Model and Role of Stakeholders
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines and influencing through others
  • Talent to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to bring projects forward to completion
