Job Title: Distribution Customer Service Representative (1st Shift) 

Department / Division:  Midwest Regional Service Center / Access Logistics

Location: Ada, MI


What do we need:

We are looking for a Customer Service Rep to join our team in our Midwest Regional Service Center. You will provide specialized support which typically include data collection, analysis, reconciliation, document processing, record keeping, systems support, information sharing and preparing standard and non-standard reports.  (e.g. Supply Chain Coordinator, HR Coordinator, etc.)

The Logistics Division is responsible for supporting our customers, manufacturing plants, and global affiliates through their warehousing and Service Centers across the United States and Canada. They support all aspects of our business throughout the supply chain, including the final orders to our customers. The Midwest Regional Service Center (MWRSC) is our largest facility, is based in Ada, Michigan, and provides pick, pack, and ship services to local Amway Business Owners, as well as domestic and international warehousing. As a Customer Service Rep you would provide tactical or operational support for this specific function. This position will work a 1st shift schedule Monday – Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm.


How you would contribute to the role:

The primary function of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to provide excellent service to our customers.  This would include supporting our IBO’s at our pick-up locations, internal departments, family requests and third-party fulfillment operation. For IBO orders, you would key new orders, take payments for existing orders, verify monetary transactions, and ensure register is accurate and totals out the end of the day. For internal departments, you would assist customers with submitting requests and guidelines, enter new internal requests into Red Prairie (Warehouse Management system), coordinate with mail services and transportation, and communicate with Crew Leaders and Supervisors regarding requests. For third-party, you would produce all necessary documents for order fulfillment, coordinate international and domestic shipments, and create and maintain good communication and working relationships with 3PLs, trucking companies, and end customers. For Procurement, you would be responsible for purchase order activities for North America, maintain and monitor payments/reports/quantities, and balance department P-Card activities. For warehouse you could cross train on distribution generalist and specialist activities based on business needs. This could include picking, packing, loading trucks, customer service, and inventory control.


Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years of customer service experience
