Internship Job Title:  System Analyst - ABO Academy


Pay Range:  

Michigan (and all other locations besides CA, NY, Hawaii): $19.35 - $24.72 per hour (Undergrad) 

California: $20.90- $26.70 (Undergrad) 

New York: $22.06- $28.18 (Undergrad)

Hawaii: $21.29- $27.19 (Undergrad)


What is special about this team: The Academy team is responsible for the design, development and continuous improvement of Amway’s training and education platform(s) globally. This team assures a competitive training and education experience for millions of Amway’s distributors. This team has truly embraced ability to work remotely as the team members are spread out within US and globally. This team gets exposure to various modern cloud native platforms, native mobile and web applications.


How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: Candidate will be exposed to various technologies, systems and methodologies used to develop a competitive modern education platform. The candidate will leave with an exposure to agile development techniques, product management tools and processes, feature scoping, prioritization, and roadmap exercises. Candidate will work with teams in various countries Amway operates to help improve the product experience via localization analysis, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, competitive analysis and assist with global rollout.


An example of a typical project is: Projects are focused on modernizing the learning experience. Potential projects include working with teams to gather and analyze localization requirements, build project plans, gather and analyze product utilization data, develop feature roadmaps and provide user training and quality assurance.


What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship?


Desired Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and communications skills. Proficient with Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)


Desired Prospective Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences or Engineering

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
