Internship Job Title:  Systems Analyst Intern - HR Solutions & Operations


Pay Range: 

Michigan (and all other locations besides CA, NY, Hawaii): $21.29 - $27.19 per hour (Undergrad) 

California: $22.99- $29.36 (Undergrad) 

New York: $24.27- $31.00 (Undergrad)

Hawaii: $23.41- $29.91 (Undergrad) 


What is special about this team: The Human Resources Solutions & Operations team is a unique experience through completely challenging work.  The Technology side of HR solutions provides many complex integrations and decisions to data feedback through various systems.  Policy and best practices drive future change and improvements to benefit system outputs for all business customers.  The team partners closely with HR and database staff to monitor, trace, investigate, and improve business system processes that impact day to day operations around the globe.  The team is small and dedicated to covering a large variety of exposure through different aspects of technologies.


How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: This position will allow for opportunities in creating new global business relationships by reducing technical debt situations within the company.  By mirroring stakeholder objectives, the contribution from this position will generate “What if…” over “Why not” conversations.  Aiding in coordinating demand tasks through roadmaps and decommissioning older technology.  The position will boost the culture around expiring standards and larger ISR initiatives.


An example of a typical project is: Projects are focused on assisting the HR department with various data integrations and planning projects. Potential projects include, bringing employee data to the forefront and spotlighting the technical impacts of employee-related data.  Compliance activities associated with global regulations and internal change also contributes to the design and landscape of ownership to certain data points.  Support of ongoing internal technical audits and building efforts to create outside the box thinking. 

What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship?


Desired Skills: Computer Information Systems or Computer Science majors preferred.  Skills in troubleshooting, proficient with Office tools and documentation.  Understand complex integrations between a variety of toolsets.  Ability to question how previous technology works and provide new suggested improvements.  Ability to dissect and translate coded deployments is suggested but not required.  Strong analytical and communication skills.


Desired Prospective Degree: BS (focus in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science)

Location of Internship: Ada, MI

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
