What do we need:

We are looking for a Product Manager for Order Management System to provide Product leadership for key and strategic initiatives within the Value Chain Inventory team.


What’s special about this team:

Value Chain Inventory team consists of several teams working on specific projects tied to our Commerce Ecosystem modernization efforts. These teams work very closely together and partner with all areas of the organization to deliver world-class OMS/IMS solution.

 

Our development project teams work in groups of 6-8 team members, and will have a variety of Scrum Masters, Developers, Analysts, and QA. This team engages in configuring/implementing SaaS solution and enjoys a Continuous Improvement/Continuous Delivery environment and flexibility in terms of how they get work done. You would also work closely with the Commerce organization and our affiliates.

 

You will report to the Manager of Value Chain – Inventory

 

What’s special about this role:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the requirements and design of Order Management System and partner with partner systems in understanding their needs. In this role you will be working with Commerce Team, Amway Markets to understand Market specific needs.  We are looking for a level of innovation and self-motivation from you; we want you to help us in implementing the Order Management System for the global Amway Markets.

You’ll play a key part of the Amway Next and Digital Transformation strategy, providing world class solution to our customers/markets. You’ll use Jira and Confluence to collaborate with your business partners.

 

Required qualifications:

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required.
  • Experience in Product Management Area, especially in Order Management, Fulfilment, Shipping including partnering closely with software development teams.
  • Experience working with OMS/DOM and exposure to Retail/FMCG domains with focus on Order Management, Fulfilment, Shipping modules. For e.g., Sterling OMS, Manhattan DOM, Oracle Order Management, SAP Hybris/DOM

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Ability to partner with customers to define and map business processes and business technology needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a cross functional agile team.
