Key Responsibilities: Day to Day
- Update and maintain stability sample data in the STARLIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) with accurate details, ensuring timely entry of sample information and tracking.
- Monitor and manage the inventory of stability samples, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and organization of samples for easy retrieval and tracking.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure stability sample inventories are replenished as needed, maintaining sufficient stock for ongoing trials.
- Perform regular audits of stability sample inventory, verifying quantities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
- Track and document the progression of stability studies, updating LIMS with the latest results and ensuring all data is complete and compliant.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that stability data is easily accessible and up-to-date for review and analysis.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of samples in accordance with relevant guidelines to maintain the integrity of the samples for future testing.
- Conduct packaging of trials of nutritional product formulations, handling batches ranging from 0.5 kilograms to 20 kilograms.
- Prepare and submit samples of test batches to scientists for further analysis.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, receiving hands-on training to ensure proficiency in all necessary tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of laboratory experience, with knowledge of managing stability samples and conducting related testing.
- Experience working with cGMP standards, specifically in relation to stability sample management, testing, and documentation.
- Familiarity with cleaning and sanitization processes in a lab environment to ensure sample integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, data tracking, and reporting stability study results.
Skills to be Successful in the Role:
- A solid understanding of cGMP standards and the ability to apply them in managing stability samples and updating LIMS in a lab environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately document stability sample data, test results, and progress in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative in updating LIMS, organizing sample inventories, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documenting and presenting findings, as well as managing and reporting stability study progress.
