Amway is the leading direct selling company in the world and this communications team is responsible for building clarity and credibility for the company, always with the goal of creating a more favorable environment for Amway Business Owners to build their businesses. The team develops and executes communications strategies to tell the Amway story to a global audience through mediums such as social media, original online content, media relations, executive communications and more. The team operates from Amway’s World Headquarters and collaborates with myriad cross-functional partners, including Creative Solutions, Digital, Brand Marketing, Legal and Government Affairs, and global Amway affiliate teams around the world.


How you would contribute to the role:


In this role, you will help develop and execute against communication strategies that share the Amway story globally. You will be responsible for the planning and creation of original online and social media content and for social media community management and analytics and reporting. You also will be responsible for supporting various public relations efforts, including media relations planning and outreach and the development of company news materials. This role offers a wide variety of types of communications work, exposure to global colleagues and audiences, a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and a collaborative, creative team atmosphere.


What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a public relations / communications role, with specific experience in social media community management and content creation
  • Demonstrated superior communication and writing skills are essential
  • Experience working with the media
  • Project management skills, planning, executing, and meeting project deadlines
  • Talent to influence without authority, with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to lead and execute against communications and social media strategies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
