What do we need:
A professional experienced in social media who can lead the day-to-day management of global channels on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. This will include editorial calendar planning and content creation through copywriting, creating Instagram stories, mining User Generated Content, scheduling and posting content, engaging with fans on the pages, responding to comments, questions and direct messages, and tracking and reporting analytics and more.

The team develops social media and PR strategies, manages social channels, develops social content and much more.
The team operates from Amway’s World Headquarters and collaborates with myriad cross-functional partners, including Creative Solutions, Digital, Brand Marketing, Legal and Government Affairs, and global Amway affiliate teams around the world.
What’s special about this role:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Social Media Leads, Social Content Specialists, Creative Solutions team, social listening team, SEO lead and many others to build Amway’s brands and help Amway Business Owners attract customers on social media. You will help build and grow engaged social communities through the day-to-day management of global channels on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, with a particular focus on our nutrition brand and health and wellness content. This will include social copywriting, scheduling and posting content, engaging with fans on the pages, responding to comments, questions and direct messages, and tracking and reporting analytics.
You will use your social media experience and skills to contribute to editorial calendar planning and content creation through copywriting, creating Instagram stories, mining User Generated Content and more. This role will provide broad exposure to a fun, fast paced, collaborative, global environment and great opportunity for growth and development. This role can be based in either Ada, Michigan or Buena Park, California.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in social media community management
- Demonstrated ability to understand social content strategy and foster a social media community for specific business purposes, with clear calls to action and measurable KPIs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Media, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
Skills to be successful in the role:
- Demonstrated skill in social copywriting
- Experience with a wide range of social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
- Understanding of social analytics, content performance and usage
- Previous experience in the nutrition or health and wellness industries
- Project management skills, planning, executing, and meeting project deadlines
- Understanding of emerging global social platforms and content trends
