What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an eager and talented Software Developer that wants to help revolutionize Amway’s global ABO Digital Payment platform.

  

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for working on a team that is implementing the future state technologies and delivering the Digital Payment platform using agile methodologies. This self-managed environment requires frequent collaboration with your teammates. Your primary focus will be back-end Java and Spring boot development but there will be front-end and DevOps opportunities.

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Computer Information Systems discipline.
  • 3 years' experience supporting large enterprise applications.
  • 3 years’ experience in Java development including strong knowledge of Java 8 (or later) features
  • 3 years of total experience with application development tools such as Kafka, Websphere, Maven and Jenkins. Any combination of these tools is acceptable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering

 

Skills to be successful in this role:

  • Experience with development and administration integration tools such as Web Methods and Mashery.
  • Experience with quality assurance testing tools to develop test scripts, test plans and perform automated testing against development solutions. 
  • Experience Spring framework and Spring boot application.
  • Experience with database modeling and developing against relational databases.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as lambdas, Fargate, S3, API Gateway, EKS, ElasticSearch, RDS and Dynamo
  • Knowledge in AWS Networking
  • Excellent communication skills with experience leading and mentoring development teams
  • Knowledge of ReactJS UI framework and python would be beneficial

 

What’s special about this team:

This team is strategically moving from a monolithic, on-premise architecture to an event-driven, micro service oriented, cloud-based serverless solution and will depend on your knowledge of AWS cloud computing, networking, and services to accomplish this. You will be measured on your contribution to the future state Digital Payment rollout and how well you interact with the team and partner systems on platform implementation.
