We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compensation professional to partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices that enable us to attract and retain top talent and drive high performance. We need someone to serve as a trusted advisor to identify and address compensation opportunities and assist leaders in making data-driven decisions.

In this role, you will join a collaborative team of Human Resource professionals, whose work supports the Compensation programs supporting our strong employment brand at Amway.  You will work with Compensation professionals responsible for our Corporate office and North America, in a role primarily focused on offering thought leadership around job evaluation and employee compensation programs and processes.  This is a special role offering opportunity and collaboration!

If you are seeking to expand your compensation expertise more broadly, this may be the perfect opportunity!  You will serve as the subject matter expert in corporate compensation, leading job analysis and job evaluation using the Korn Ferry Hay methodology.  You will lead strategic market analysis, plan design and administration, pay range development, etc., and may also have the opportunity to work cross functionally in the total rewards space on projects outside the US.  Partnering with a broader team, you will act as the compensation lead, guiding strategies that impact our ability to attract and retain top talent and drive high performance at Amway.  Your ability to provide guidance and recommendations that fit with our compensation and total rewards strategies will establish your success in this role.   This is a special opportunity that will influence current and future compensation policies that better complement our strong employment brand.  Your expertise, influence, and ability to manage change will be valued in this role and will offer you the ability to build productive outcomes!

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum five years’ experience as a Compensation professional in a corporate environment
  • Strong working knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act and other related employment laws and regulations
  • Working knowledge of Korn Ferry/Hay methodology
  • Experience offering thought leadership around compensation practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of compensation best practices and principles and experience developing and implementing compensations programs
  • Robust skills in Microsoft applications, particularly strong in Excel.  Demonstrated experience collecting, extracting and interpreting data to provide meaningful solutions
  • BS degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related discipline

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Highly effective consultative skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to provide guidance and consultation to all levels of business leaders, HR leaders and colleagues
  • Strong analytics skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with client groups and HR.
