What do we need:

Our Midwest Regional Service Center is seeking a Team Leader who can support our team on 3rd shift.  This is a great opportunity for someone to learn the operation and help drive improvement initiatives.

The Logistics Division is responsible for supporting our customers, manufacturing plants and global affiliates through their warehousing and Service Centers across the United States.  They support all aspects of our business throughout the supply chain, including the final orders to our customers.  Our motto is “Perfect Orders Every Time” and we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations through a flexible and agile workforce.  The Midwest Regional Service Center is our largest facility and is based in Ada.

 

What’s special about this role:

 In addition to supporting the warehousing and fulfillment operations, as the Team Leader you will also provide leadership to our distribution staff.  This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead the team on 3rd shift.  This role will provide you with the opportunity to learn the entire operation of the MWRSC.  Working alongside your team, you will be responsible for fulfillment operations.  Over time, you will learn other operations at MWRSC. 

 

As you gain experience with the operations, you will be responsible to drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve operations efficiency.  This may include technical and system upgrades.  You will also lead by providing training, motivation, and feedback to team members.  For organizational project work, you will represent the Logistics team on different cross functional teams.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with leadership exposures in a Distribution or Warehouse environment
  • Functional knowledge of Red Prairie or other WMS, WCS, and WFM technologies
  • Associates’ degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field desired

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean, Six Sigma are desired.
  • The ability to relocate for growth opportunities to other geographic locations will be desired.
  • Bilingual with Spanish language skills helpful
