Associate Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support for all aspects related to cash management and Treasury related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily cash management responsibilities associated with business operations requirements, including cash positioning, transaction execution and cash concentration (pooling and funding)
  • Treasury contact for finance managers, SSC staff and any local affiliate contact and to coordinate decisions (with Manager’s guidance) for processes around cash, banking solutions, legal, tax and/or local banking requirements.
  • Managing bank accounts for markets responsible for
  • Preparation of annual cash plan analysis for relevant markets. This will involve collaboration with various departments across the enterprise
  • Preparation and ensuring timely submission of governance related reports
  • Maintain banking administration rights for markets and acting as single point of contact supporting all the updates/changes throughout the region
  • Propose process improvements to current systems/procedures related to job function
  • Maintain a strong control environment and ensure timely escalation and remediation of any control deficiencies identified
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLA) and monthly performance and productivity KPIs are maintained for markets under scope
  • Develop new desktop procedures and enhance existing desktop procedures as per established guidelines and processes
  • Ad Hoc tasks for markets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking or related field.
  • Membership with the Association of Corporate Treasurers is an added advantage
  • At least 2 years of related experience with exposure to various bank account management
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and produce expected results.
  • Interpret data:  Ability to read and interpret data from financial and numerical material
  • Effectively communicating and presenting financial data (both verbally and written) to all levels and global audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives, projects and activities, making good judgment as to time allocation.
  • Ability to maintain effective and productive relationships, including ability to understand and support clients, vendors and peers.
