We seek a talent to provide global regulatory strategy for our nutrition business line as regulations and policies change.

 

What’s special about this team:

 

The Nutrition Regulatory Affairs & Safety team functions as a progressive global group that ensures product compliance and safety in every step of the product lifecycle.  This group delivers scientifically sound regulatory strategies, which provide our Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) confidence, that they are selling a superior product. On this team you will provide counsel to cross functional teams on regulation changes which can impact ingredient acceptability, formulation design, product labeling, claims and registration requirements.

 

Working with our global team, we also monitor and interpret the impact of current, pending, and future regulations to ensure the Nutrition portfolio maintains compliance. What’s special about this role:

 

In this role, you will work with our global team to monitor and interpret the impact of current, pending, and future regulations to ensure the Nutrition portfolio maintains compliance along with future products in development.  This position will support our international counterparts to ensure review and interpretation of the proposed regulation and will lead business impact conversations. This position is essential in working to find successful regulatory pathways for Amway nutrition products sold in over 80 countries and territories around the globe. By partnering with key stakeholders both in our corporate environment, and around the world, you will guide nutrition development teams offering regulatory compliant solutions for global nutrition regulatory changes. Without you, we would be unable to create and sustain nutritional products for our customers.

 

You will lead review of regulations, business impact assessment, presentation of regulation changes to internal stake holders and support of regulation intelligence and advocacy activities. Additionally, you will commonly work with global teams, collaborating with regulatory partners both inside Amway, and in the industry. You will lead regulatory strategies in a dynamic product development setting, providing product access across the globe. Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 - 4 years scientific background in Regulatory, Health/Nutrition, or related function, with use of analytical and scientific databases
  • Knowledge of global food/nutrition regulations, communicating and interpreting regulatory challenges
  • Experience leading cross functional global project teams successfully through risk management scenarios
  • BS degree in Food, Regulatory Science, or a related sciences discipline (MS degree preferred)

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • A solution-oriented mindset, providing strategic regulatory recommendations for regulation input
  • Strong collaboration skills with talent to communicate across cultures, influencing stakeholders
  • Experience with global food/nutrition laws and/or Supplement requirements

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
