This team manages a highly complex supply chain, including vertically integrated operations and handling of natural botanical ingredients. We work closely with the production facilities located in Michigan, California and Washington and are responsible for a $2B portfolio. We thrive on delivering high quality products on time, while optimizing production, transportation and inventory costs.


How you would contribute to the role:


This Master Scheduler role specifically supports our Packaging operation currently located in Buena Park, California, with transition plans of relocating to Ada, Michigan, over the next few years. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, mid to long-range capacity planning; prioritization and fair-sharing of constrained resources; supporting new product or business continuance projects; and engaging and influencing stakeholders for business deliverables and process improvements.


This role will provide an opportunity for you to gain exposure across our supply chain operations and allow you to develop depth and breadth in planning knowledge. Your insights and dedicated efforts to set up the best-in-class global supply chains and effectively manage your portfolio will contribute to meeting our Product Availability commitments to the Amway Business Owners (ABO’s) and customers around the world.


This role may require some limited domestic travel within the US, one to two times a year.    


Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a supply chain role that has demonstrated your ability to offer business solutions
  • BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related function.  APICS certification is a plus.



Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Global supply chain planning experience
  • Deep understanding of supply chain principles
  • Understanding of supply chain business processes (Inventory, demand, forecasting, capacity planning, procurement, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (i.e. JDA, JDE) and Microsoft Office
  • Learning agility to grasp analytical insights and interpret for meaningful solutions
  • Ability to offer thought leadership and strategic recommendations for decisions and improvements
  • Talent to lead teams, communicate concisely, with the ability to influence stakeholders
