  • Engage in any or all of the following supply and demand planning activities, which include, finished goods purchasing and planning, and distribution inventory planning:
  • Converts unconstrained supply or production plans into an efficient, cost-effective plan
  • Assures timely, efficient provision of materials and/or finished goods through analysis of production demands vs. supplier capacity, order management, and proactive management of supplier relationships
  • Assures timely, efficient flow of product to distribution facilities through analysis of orders, creation of replenishment plans and execution of replenishment orders
  • Performs root-cause analysis of problems and suggest new/revised process/programs to improve future effectiveness
  • Maximize product availability while minimizing inventory cost through pro-active product life-cycle analysis and audits of excess or obsolete materials/products
  • Utilize industry-standard supply chain planning tools to forecast demand to Amway shops and execute fulfillment activities to position inventory in the right quantity, at the right place, at the right time.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
  • Prepare, analyze, and coordinate to improve demand forecast accuracy for the responsible business lines and all shops.
  • Coordinate with regional and global supply chain planning teams to ensure consistent supply of quality products to markets.
  • Mitigate product availability interruptions caused by demand fluctuation or supply outages.
  • Support market promotional activities and new product launches
  • Set plans and generate work orders for rework or kitting/assembly activities required in Amway distribution centers
  • Participate in market S&OP process, coordinating supply and demand activities in support of business strategies and initiatives.
  • Requirements
  • Major : Business, supply chain management, economics, or related field
  • Key supply chain principles: understanding of key supply chain principles and strategies.
  • Systems aptitude: ability to comfortably work with advanced supply chain planning systems and tools
  • Process Improvement: ability to challenge current processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Interpret data: ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from technical or business material.
