Responsible for regulatory and/or safety compliance of assigned product lines and markets (ACU):
- Conducting concept/category reviews, label and claims development, international claims support and investigation of products, raw materials, ingredients, formulas and packaging for regulatory compliance
-  Evaluating new and existing products against regulations, developing and leading proactive approaches and strategies to ensure regulatory and/or safety compliance and prevent/avoid product compliance issues
-  Supporting key product and business strategies by reviewing, monitoring and interpreting the impact of current, pending, and future product regulations and/or safety requirements, managing risk assessment, and participating in the compilation and maintenance of databases for regulations and related regulatory and/or safety compliance issues

-  Actively participating and providing advice and counsel to cross-functional domestic and international project teams on product labeling requirements, product safety, product specifications, formula, raw material, customs clearance and artwork to support new product launches and maintain regulatory compliant products
-  Initiating, preparing and publishing regulatory assessment reports
-  Facilitating proactive product safety and/or regulatory reviews in support of both new product launch and existing product fulfillment
-  Recommending compliance strategy and/or safety testing with full consideration of product quality
-  Ensuring testing protocols are designed, reviewed, and implemented to assure products are safe for the customer under expected usage conditions and regulations

-  Interpreting data and regulations, providing and clearly communicating resolutions for technical/regulatory/safety challenges/issues for assigned products/markets to both Corporate and Affiliate staff
-  Developing and maintaining relationships with industry, vendors, regulators and technical organizations to ensure continuous improvement and credibility of our regulatory/product safety programs
-  Securing certifications for assigned products with external 3rd party certification organizations to meet market requirements
-  Independently developing and revising procedures and processes for review and implementation
-  Providing mentoring, coaching and support on technical programs and projects which may include directing day-to-day work of technicians, lower level analysts/scientists/engineers, interns and/or contractors

-  Represent the Business Line (BL) from technical regulatory perspective in front of other areas of expertise within the Region,

USA Headquarters and Local Suppliers

-  Coordinate any BL regulatory communication among the Region.

-  Act as contact point to Global Regulatory, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain and Project Management for technical

and regulatory issues related to the respective BL.

-  Provide timely and clear communication for any regulatory issue relating to the BL represented.

-  Support Management with technical regulatory advices for the represented BL at region level.

-  Ensure the BL product registration/amendments/renewal approvals within the cluster region.

-  Advice for any product / project related to the BL for the region, including product, ingredient, labeling and claims

assessment and keep track of answers

-  Request registration documents both from the headquarters and/or external suppliers, and keep track of them (CVLs

apostilled, formulas signed and adapted to the needs of each country, certificates of analysis, product and packaging

specifications, special documents by country, etc)

-  Assist Regional Marketing with product literature development/review to ensure compliance with regulations and with

technical product information as required.

-  Establish working relationships with trade association or RPI team, supporting and providing requested information timely-

-  Support Customer Service regarding ABO technical doubts to the BL, when needed

-  Keep internal local databases updated (overlabel control, inbound control, registration control, PLM MKT/MASTER Dossier)

-  Support Supply Chain on Product Importation Process, specially Health authorities request.

In Argentina:

- Technical Director responsible for all categories before authorities.

- Participation in local trade associations for monitoring and/or influencing activities.
