What do we need:

Amway Aviation is looking to hire a safety-oriented Aviation Maintenance Technician with experience working on Praetor 600 or Gulfstream 600 aircraft.  Along with working on our Praetor 600 and Gulfstream 600, you will be working on a variety of fixed wing aircraft to include Gulfstream 550, Citation CJ4, and Helicopters Airbus H145 and Sikorsky S-76 C++.

 

Working Hours:  Monday through Friday from 2:30pm – 11:00p with the flexibility of overtime

What’s special about this role:

Your ability to work collaboratively will be valued in this role as you work broadly with the other Technicians to maintain a variety of airframes.  You will act as a key point of contact for maintenance requirements for our Praetor 600 or Gulfstream 600.  You will provide work scope requirements for annual budgeting and input into service centers for large work scopes and manage the projects from beginning to end. 

 

We will utilize your knowledge of the Embraer and Gulfstream maintenance process to evaluate maintenance quotes and estimates, maintenance down times and to interpret technical data.  Your capabilities to lead projects with outside vendors and internal co-workers, and meet the flight demands of the Principals and Corporate needs will spotlight your talents.  This role will utilize your knowledge of the Embraer and Gulfstream platforms and FAA regulations to maintain our departments reputation as one of the best flight departments in the nation. 

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance experience working on mid/large-size business type jet aircraft
  • High School Diploma & FAA Maintenance School
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • Valid Passport/Eligible for Passport
  • Working knowledge of current FAA regulations, ATA codes, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Praetor 600 or Gulfstream 600 experience
  • Strong knowledge of all aircraft mechanical and avionics systems
  • Thorough familiarity and considerable experience using tools and equipment required to perform aircraft maintenance
  • Talent to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to bring projects forward to completion
  • Strong ability to communicate and customer service
