Key Responsibilities: -

  • Ensure financial reporting complies to Company policies & procedures and other regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and file statutory financial statements in cooperation with external consultants
  • Understand of and ensure compliance with US GAAP reporting, corporate reporting including tax
  • Prepare and review tax and statistical reporting in compliance with local regulations
  • Manage audit process and relationships with external auditors
  • Liaise with Internal Audit (IA) to validate IA reports, capture and implement IA recommendations
  • Close cooperation with all Finance GBS ( RTR, O2C and P2P streams) and other internal and outsourced providers if any
  • Perform monthly Balance Sheets reconciliations accounts review and procurement compliance review
  • Ensure sound governance and controls are in place : such as GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) & CSA (Control Self Assessment)
  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews and internal controls testing for financial processes
  • Accountable to review and approve company’s accounting policies
  • Participate in any ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned from time to time, i.e.: migration of accounting processes to GBS, support Lean & Agile initiatives across APAC countries


Requirements: -

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance & Professional Accounting Certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA) is compulsory
  • Minimum 5 years related experience, including experience in public accounting firm
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, standards, financial statement and reports
  • Ability to deal with various key stakeholders in the markets, Corporate and GBS
  • Prior experience in handling full sets of account is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of ERP system is compulsory, experience with Oracle is an added advantage
