IT Asset Management Specialist

 

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the global team in Amway Corporate IT. Able to think globally.
  • Provide support for Corporate and Affiliates. Collaborate with local and cross-region teammates.
  • Proven ability to support meeting services and problems as they arise for customers
  • Establishes and implements hardware, software and service acquisition policies, standards and procedures.
  • Investigates available equipment, evaluates appropriateness based on user requirements and makes recommendations to management.
  • Maintains records of software agreements and contracts and ensure adherence.
  • Coordinates the procurement of hardware, software and services between IT and Strategic Procurement.
  • Manage ordering, receipts and disposal processes for IT hardware and software and telecom equipment.
  • Plan, monitor, and record enterprise software assets to ensure alignment with software license and software maintenance agreements.
  • Reports to ITAM Manager.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in related field.
  • Senior level proficiency in theoretical concepts and applied principles and practices of area of specialty.
  • Must be able to set strategies and protocol for processes.
  • Sound knowledge of Software Licensing across a range of key software vendors and their enterprise licensing vehicles (including: Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, AWS, etc).
  • Significant experience of managing software within a Software Asset Management team
  • Solid understanding and proven track record in software licensing models and compliance management.
  • Experience disposal for IT hardware and software and telecom equipment will be added advantage.
  • Self-driven, strong initiative and participative.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as a team.
  • Willing to extend working hours during week days as this position requires to collaborate with teammates based in U.S for project discussions.
