What do we need:

We are looking for a People Analytics Specialist to be part of the HR Strategy and People Development team to help generate meaningful people insights and strategic directions through an evidence-based approach to build and enable our people strategy for Amway Malaysia.

You would be joining a team of passionate HR professionals who are dedicated to developing and growing Amway’s people and organization. This team comprises multiple portfolios that oversee strategic direction, design, development, and implementation of the people agenda for all employees across all three different entities in Malaysia.

You will be reporting to the Head of HR Strategy and People Development.

 

How you would contribute to the role:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide business and people insight and recommendations through metrics, reporting, and variance analysis coming from in-depth analysis.
  • Prepares, develops, and analyses reports and presentations on key people priorities to inform and influence business decisions using both internal and external insights.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for continuous improvement or further leveraging these systems within HR.
  • Analyze and present relevant data in easy-to-understand format/dashboards or file automation to aid timely decision-making, provide insightful discoveries and recommendations, and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to provide insights and recommendations based on data and evidence (descriptive, predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic) for current and future focus areas and initiatives.
  • Support execution of people data requests, from requirement gathering to ideation to solution implementation.
  • Ensure data integrity by monitoring data quality and cleaning, as needed.

 

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Statistics/Data Science required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR data analytics
  • Having a certification in Data Analytics/LEAN Six Sigma would be advantageous
  • Having experience in other disciplines within HR such as Branding, Change Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development and/or Communication would be desirable

 

Success in this role would consist of the design, development, analysis, and implementation of the initiatives and insights for the organization. You will be assessed on your abilities and effectiveness in working with the team to deliver successful insights, enhancements, and overall initiatives rollout.

Required skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in reports and dashboards. (e.g. software, spreadsheets, Tableau, Power BI, Visier, pivots and formulas, graphs, and flow charts)
  • Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data analytics and insights.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable to various business models and projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of supporting market
