Primary Responsibilities:
Technology Solutions Development
- Develop and implement technology solutions to support tax and treasury operations.
- Collaborate with Tech and other business teams to design and configure systems that enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate in the development of new tools and systems, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
System Maintenance and Support
- Maintain and support existing tax and treasury technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the tax and treasury functions.
- Apply best practices and process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows and eliminate redundancies.
Data Management and Reporting
- Manage data collection and analysis for tax and treasury activities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Assist in ensuring compliance with global tax regulations and standards.
- Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating potential risks related to tax and treasury operations.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and advise on necessary system adjustments.
Training and Documentation
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems and processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure knowledge transfer within the team and to relevant stakeholders.
Project Management
- Lead/Participate in project planning and execution for tax and treasury technology initiatives.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technology solutions.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the tax and treasury domain.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance current systems and processes.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive excellence in tax and treasury operations.
Roadmap Maintenance
- Assist in managing the strategic development, planning, implementation, and monitoring of Technologies to be used within the Tax/Treasury Departments globally to create standardized and efficient processes.
- Maintenance of the Solutions & Insights Roadmap to be leveraged for short, mid & long-term objective setting.
- Ensure alignment of the roadmap with global standards and local regulations.
