About Our Internship Program:

Here at Amway, our interns develop through real world experience and are assigned meaningful projects that challenge and allow for personal growth. All Interns receive project support and on-going performance feedback from a person advisor and hiring manager. Amway hosts over 80+ interns each summer and offers programming events designed to assist navigating Amway culture, making the most of a summer internship, and building a successful career. The program provides exposure to a breadth of career fields and provides unique opportunities to learn business acumen, work cross-functionally and showcase their skillsets directly to hiring managers and executives.

 

Internship Eligibility:

This job posting is for our summer 2020 Internship Program (May – August); qualified candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and one semester or more left of school to complete at the beginning of their internship. Candidates who have graduated are not eligible to intern.

BEAUTY BRAND MARKETING

 

Internship Job Title: Beauty Brand Marketing

 

What is special about this team: Small empowered team that is more than just a marketing team – we are brand experts. We work on local brand and product strategies, product development, 360-degree launch activations and promotions. 

 

How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: Assist in many aspects of marketing, including new product launches, marketing communications and media effectiveness. May provide business analysis of category trends, competitive brands, production and inventory management. May help develop appropriate business plans by analyzing business segments, targets or other opportunities.  May also help work with the field in activation of upcoming launches. 

 

An example of a typical project is:  Preparing post launch reviews – looking at a launch relative to the pre-launch objectives to review the pre-determined strategies and make recommendations for future launches. Review market trends and deep competitive analysis, consumer trends, and technology trends to help create future 3-year launch & promotion calendar recommendation for a specific product category. Work cross functionally to find innovative ways to map & improve the customer experience.

 

What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship?

 

      Desired Skills: Ability to demonstrate leadership, a proven track record of collaboration with others, a robust knowledge of social media for brand building purposes, strong presentation skills, passion for consumer products, financial acumen & ability to  digest and analyze market data.Project management skills and ability to take initiative, leading projects with guidance.

 

      Desired Degree: Business, Marketing, Communications, &/or MBA

NUTRITION BRAND MARKETING

Internship Job Title: Nutrition Brand Marketing
