What we’re looking for:

 

We are looking for the next great Digital Experience Designer/Owner that will help us create best-in-class Digital experiences for our customers. This role is primarily about Customer Experience and User Experience, and less about graphic design.

This is a role working with one of the most cutting-edge teams within Amway and leading our continued Digital Transformation.  This team thrives in identifying customer/user pain points, completing research to fully understand the challenges/opportunities and curating experiences that help deliver value through digital tools.  This team focuses on developing digital tools for our Amway Business Owners (Distributors) to run their businesses.  This includes tools to:  track goals and progress, engage with their customers, coach their teams, and grow their businesses.  These tools help to enhance their off-line business activies, on-line activities through in person, digital and social channels.   

 

This team of eight will transform the user experience with Amway products and will enable personalized interactions throughout the digital ecosystem.   You will work with design teams in an agile methodology driven environment to enable solution development that is focused on the end-user. 

 

This team’s goal is to design experiences that will not only impact growth targets and set us apart as a leader in direct selling, but also delight our end-users. Come make a name for yourself!

 

How you would contribute to the role:

 

If you are motivated to put your design education to use while helping to establish the omnichannel digital experience in our evolving digital realm, this role will spotlight your talents!  Your first priority will be to understand the challenges that the end-user has in their experiences with our digital products, and then provide solutions to improve that user experience. You will also be building upon your existing experience design skills.

 

 

In this new function, you will lead by thinking experience first.  You will be working with our global markets to drive a globally unified product roadmap for key capabilities, including creating and maturing the vision for those capabilities.  This will require involvement early in the project lifecycle, to research and define who we are designing for, and what their needs will require.  This will influence the opportunity we have as a business to create the experience that fulfills the user needs.  

 

Additionally, you will be responsible for the EPIC roadmaps, enhancing future design.  Your talent to lead global teams, and to provide the vision for digital experience pathways, will be highly valued in this role.  If you are seeking an opportunity to spotlight your contribution, you will be a key team member, leading important initiatives for a Amway.   This is a highly visible, cool new role, working with a team tasked to improve digital performance, and deliver tools that make it easier for our Amway Business Owners.

 

What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • 1 year of user experience (UX) or customer experience (CX) design for digital applications
  • Exposure to customer journey mapping, storyboarding, impact mapping and ecosystem mapping
  • Skilled with problem definition and research methodologies to understand why.
  • Ability to travel globally, up to 20% (maximum)
  • BS degree in Design discipline preferred
