Job Title: Mix Technician I – IV (XS)

Department / Division: XS / Manufacturing

Location: Ada, MI

 

What do we need:

We are looking for a Mix Technician to join our team in our XS facility.

 

What’s special about this job:

The XS Plant manufactures and produces XS energy drinks for consumption by its customers. This high-volume plant provides the opportunity to learn, develop, and grow into multiple skillsets across a variety of roles with training and development opportunities available. This versatile environment allows you to flow-to-work as needed, keeping up moving and engaged in all aspects of production. As an XS Technician in the plant, you will be a part of a collaborative team, learning all aspects of the plant’s operations. This role will have a focused career progression with a skill development system that allows for multiple avenues to promotion. 

 

This position will operate on four 10-hour shifts, Monday – Thursday from 4:00pm – 2:00am.  

 

How you would contribute to the role:

If you are detail-oriented and enjoy collaboration with high attention to detail, the Mix Technician position may be of interest to you! In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to ensure product quality while supporting the Mix Operation. Your strong organizational and time management skills will be valued as you work to complete records and documentation. You will be instrumental in assuring practices, procedures, and policies are followed. Accuracy is crucial in this role, as you will be working with formulas, charts, and tables when measuring ingredients for various applications. Additional opportunities to handle other specialized tasks in the Packaging and Warehouse operations will be available to achieve overall success within the XS operations team.

 

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Must be capable of lifting 0 – 50 lbs.
  • Ability to navigate computer systems effectively (PMC, WinSPC, DC Link)
  • Prior experience with manufacturing canning products, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, or working in a warehouse environment is a plus

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Strong attention to detail/safety with high level of accuracy, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve and take initiative with strong communication skills and team-focus
  • Accountability for trust and follow through on commitments with team members
  • The drive to understand the root cause of issues, develop, and enhance processes with willingness to adapt to different approaches, ideas, tools, techniques, and processes
