This broader team in the Innovation & Science (I&S) Division has three areas of focus; one group works with consumer products research projects, another few promote Human Centered Design elements in product development, and the remaining area works on strategic initiatives for the I&S Division. This talented team brings to life the environment that makes our global I&S team unique, drives engagement, and inspires action toward our global I&S goals. On this team, you will work broadly with internal corporate leaders, global I&S counterparts, and internal stakeholders, leading global strategic projects and communications for the I&S Division.  This special role will offer the opportunity to inspire employee engagement that delivers against the broader I&S strategic goals.


How you would contribute to the role:

If you are someone strong in Human Centered Design (HCD), project management, and communications strategy, with a talent to engage stakeholders, this position may be a great fit!  In this role you will interface with our I&S executive team, helping us move our most critical I&S projects forward.  Acting as a lead for Human Centered Design project oversight, you will develop and execute roll out of the global plans and strategies for the Division, providing the structure and detail to deliver against those goals.  You will lead and execute plans that guide global projects through planning, execution, and delivery.  Your work will bring the global I&S strategic initiatives to life, helping employees understand the impact of their individual roles in connecting to the broader organizational plans.  By developing and executing strong project planning strategies, you will engage key audiences (I&S global leaders and I&S global employees) to action. Executive leaders will value your ability to communicate the business priorities and strategies, in ways that engages employees to our I&S direction and corporate values.   This small but mighty team, is the heartbeat of the I&S Division, helping us stay on track with our goal of “helping people live better lives” by offering a strategic roadmap to achieve our Division goals through plans and communications that deliver against the broader goals!


What skills and background will be important to be successful?

  • Minimum six years leading corporate projects, using Human Centered Design methodology
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and confidence to work closely with executive leaders
  • Background leading strategic initiatives and project planning for a corporate client group
  • Proven communicator, able to lead strategic and visible communications projects
  • Demonstrated ability to create strategic roadmap that achieves project deliverables
  • Ability to create, implement, communicate and execute a comprehensive strategy
  • Project management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities to coordinate deliverables
  • Background in executive or strategic communications, helping leaders craft insights for multiple audiences
  • BS degree in Business, or a related discipline. MBA preferred
