In this role, you will join a collaborative team of Human Resource professionals, whose work drives the Benefits programs supporting our strong employment brand at Amway.  This team’s efforts establish a workplace environment envied in the marketplace, ensuring the ability to attract and retain top talent, and drive high performance.  You will work with a team of Benefits professionals, responsible for the US employee benefit, disability, absence management, wellness and recognition.  You will work in an autonomous environment, where you will be primarily focused on health and wellness benefits administration and retirement planning for US based employees.  If you want a dynamic work environment that offers opportunity and collaboration, this may be the job for you! 


How you would contribute to the role: 

If you are a benefits professional seeking broader exposures in the total rewards space, this may be the perfect opportunity!  You will serve as the subject matter expert in benefits administration and will support key projects such as; open enrollment, new benefit launches or changes to current offerings.  Your expertise in vendor management, health care, and financial plans will be valued in this role. Partnering with health and wellness vendors, you will collaborate on programming, plan design, costs and value for both the employee and the company, and will provide analysis, recommendations, and compliance reporting.  Additionally, you will support the communications for plan design or benefit changes, working closely with both internal and external partners.  This role will have you commonly working with employees to consult and advise on benefit offerings that fit our total rewards strategies, establishing your success in this role.  This is a special opportunity that will utilize your knowledge of the benefits landscape and will influence current and future strategies that better complement our strong employment brand.  Your expertise, influence, and ability to manage change will be valued in this role and will offer someone like you the ability to work collaboratively, to build productive outcomes! 


What skills and background will be important to be successful: 

  • Minimum one year of experience as a Benefits professional, with functional knowledge of benefits application in a corporate environment 

  • Experience leading benefit vendor partnerships, negotiations, contracts, data management, compliance and communications 

  • Working knowledge of applicable benefit laws including: ACA, ERISA, ADAAA, leave management, etc. 

  • Experience offering thought leadership around benefit practices 

  • Interests in gaining exposure to the broader employee total rewards, wellness and recognition 

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization 

  • CEBS certification preferred 

  • BS degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related discipline
