*Note: This position is a hybrid remote/office role, and you must be able to report in person to Ada on Monday through Thursday as part of our collaboration days* 

 

What We’re Looking for:

This Material Requirements Planner role supports our Supplement Bottle Packaging operation in Ada, Michigan, and plays a key role in ensuring efficient production planning and supply chain optimization. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and global supply chain partners to order and manage component materials, helping ensure products are delivered cost-effectively to Amway Business Owners (ABOs) around the world.  You will also be responsible for developing, influencing, and managing supplier relationships to support reliable supply and strong business performance. In addition, you will contribute to projects focused on new product launches, process optimization, service level improvements, and inventory reduction.  By providing insights that shape our supply chain strategies and planning processes, you will help ensure product availability for our ABOs, whose businesses depend on delivering Amway products to their customers on time.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supply chain role that has demonstrated your ability to offer business solutions
  • BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related function

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Proficiency with supply chain technologies.
  • Understanding of supply chain business processes (Inventory, demand, forecasting, capacity planning, procurement, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Ability to grasp analytical insights and interpret to develop meaningful solutions
  • Ability to offer thoughtful leadership and strategic recommendations for improvements
  • Talent to lead teams, communicate concisely, with the ability to influence stakeholders

 

What’s special about this team:

The Global Supply Chain Planning team works collaboratively with our Ada-based facilities and global supply chain teams to schedule and distribute products globally. This role will be part of the Nutrition Supply Chain Planning team, which is responsible for supporting our Spaulding Production Plant. This team thrives on delivering products on time while minimizing transportation and inventory costs and delivering cost savings to the supply chain. This role will provide an opportunity for you to gain exposure across our supply chain operations and allow you to develop depth and breadth in planning knowledge.
