What do we need:
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to assist in the development, implementation, improvement, and ongoing support of critical business systems, processes, databases, software, and instruments. This role will support our Laboratory Management Information Systems (LIMS). This role will rely heavily on your ability to assess process/systems and equipment challenges and align business requirements with enterprise strategies.
How you would contribute to the role:
This role will have you working broadly within Innovation & Science partners, and across the enterprise to ensure our systems, processes, and datasets address our key business challenges in alignment with our strategic objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include the identification, execution, and support of continuous improvement efforts across our connected lab solutions and instrumentation. To effectively predict and influence solutions, a key focus of this role is understanding technology capabilities and underlying business needs. You will routinely lead small to medium-sized continuous improvement projects and provide support for large scale cross-functional projects. As your experience grows the depth and breadth of supported applications and processes will expand into adjacent spaces.
Required qualifications:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Sciences related field
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a laboratory environment and/or development of LIMS, ELN, or laboratory monitoring systems
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and strong multi-tasking ability
- Comfortable reading and editing common coding languages
