What’s special about this team:

The Global Supply Chain Planning team works collaboratively to schedule and distribute product globally, with our manufacturing facilities, 3rd party suppliers, and global supply chain teams.  This role will be a part of the Nutrition GAO/WIP Planning team, which is responsible for managing and processing raw materials through our Global Agribusiness Operations (GAO) and managing and planning products that are produced within our Work In Process (WIP) Manufacturing resources. 

This team thrives on delivering product on time, delivering cost savings, managing overall inventory levels, and focusing on minimizing production inefficiencies.  This role will provide an opportunity for you to gain exposure across our supply chain operations and allow you to develop depth and breadth in Supply Chain knowledge. This position will be an EXA 14 Associate Supply Chain Planner.

How you would contribute to the role:

You will work with internal cross functional business partners and global supply chain partners to order and process raw materials to cost effectively deliver products to Amway Business Owner’s (ABO’s) all around the world. You will also be responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships. 

Additionally, you will work on projects with a focus on new product launches, process optimization, improved service level, and reduced inventory.  You will provide insights that design our supply chains and effectively plan for product availability to support our ABO’s, whose businesses are built around a commitment of delivering Amway products on time.    

Required qualifications:

  • BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related function
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supply chain role that has demonstrated your ability to offer business solutions



Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Proficiency with supply chain technologies.
  • Understanding of supply chain business processes (Inventory, demand, forecasting, capacity planning, procurement, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Ability to grasp analytical insights and interpret to develop meaningful solutions
  • Ability to offer thoughtful leadership and strategic recommendations for improvements

Talent to lead teams, communicate concisely, with the ability to influence stakeholders
