Job title:  Brand Manager – Water Treatment (eSpring)

The Global Wellness Devices team is a dynamic and exciting combination of our world-leading brands in residential Water (eSpring) and Air Treatment (Atmosphere) and future wellness-promoting products.  Headquartered out of Ada Michigan, our nimble team of four marketers leads the development of new products and campaigns in concert with a global team of affiliate marketers (approximately 20+) and cross functional teams (Innovation & Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, After Sales Service, etc.) to deliver exceptional customer experiences through our global network of Amway Business Owners.

 

What’s special about this role:

You will lead assigned projects within our Water Treatment category and best-selling eSpring brand globally with crossover support across categories (Air Treatment, others) as needed.  Additionally, you will have exposures to a wide variety of global business cultures and will have an opportunity to present to and influence senior executives within our global organization.  In this role you will contribute to the development and implementation of multi-year brand/marketing strategies, Brand positioning/claims, Marketing plans (launch campaigns, social media, promotion, packaging, public relations), product pricing, while collaborating with cross-functional areas including and defining learning needs and required market research.  Your capabilities to manage projects (as assigned) with outside vendors, internal clients, and project partners will spotlight your talents and you will receive opportunities and mentorship to learn and grow.

 

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a Brand Marketing or related role, managing related product categories (especially Consumer Electronics, Wellness Technology, Connected Devices/IoT, Air or Water Treatment)
  • Ability to work across cultures and time zones to negotiate compromise and mutual success
  • Knowledge and awareness of psychographic, attitudinal, and behavioral consumer macro trends
  • Proficiency in brand development with experience in creating and marketing and/or sales tools and collateral
  • Demonstrated talent to lead marketing strategic planning, influence people, processes & local marketing
  • Interpersonal skills to develop and sustain rapport with key Amway Business Owners and affiliate staff
  • Ability to travel globally up to 20%
