We need a Data Scientist with experience in predictive modeling and machine learning to help enable and optimize value creation and insights for our Supply Chain organization. We seek a high-energy Data Scientist ready to support our global team.
What’s special about this role:
As a Data Scientist, you will help generate data models for forecast accuracy and metric management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement opportunities. You will evaluate and experiment with opportunities to incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning into Amway’s demand planning process.
You will support our regional demand planning and affiliate marketing teams in generating data-driven, consensus-based forecasts for new promotions and item launches. Required qualifications:
- Minimum three years of experience performing data manipulation, statistical model development, model tuning, and deployment with Python and R languages
- BS/BA in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistical Science, or Information Sciences. A Master’s in Data Science or Applied Data Science is a plus
- Statistical data analysis experience in Data Science using various model techniques to complete data mining analysis
- Demonstrated experience using various machine learning techniques, algorithms, and frameworks, including Vector Regression Analysis, Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Gradient Boosting including LGBV and XGBoost, and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
