What do we need:

The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment across our diverse operations. You will implement and manage programs related to environmental compliance, safety, and industrial hygiene, with an emphasis on making our facilities as safe as possible. To be successful, you have to be comfortable working both independently on projects and collaboratively with teams across different departments and locations.

This position offers you a unique opportunity to experience a variety of operations, including supplement manufacturing, high-speed liquid fill, industrial printing, plastics production, and beverage canning/bottling, all on our campus in Ada, MI.

Daily responsibilities will include conducting site visits, leading training sessions, developing and implementing safety programs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position requires approximately 60% of time spent in our plant facilities and 40% dedicated to project work.

Required qualification

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment
• Experience conducting safety presentations for plant personnel

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or related field or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of EH&S regulations.

The EH&S Team is a group of 9 hard-working and knowledgeable professionals focused on complying with all state and federal safety and environmental regulations, managing risks and providing support to all Amway operations. Members of this team reside in MI, CA and WA, work closely together and collaborate on all EH&S program. They also work heavily with cross functional partners in Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, Distribution, QA, and I&S to provide support for their EH&S programs. In addition, this Team collaborates with their international partners around the globe to achieve global EH&S excellence.
