What we need:
Join our Global Regulatory team and play a vital role in bringing our nutrition products to the world. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will ensure our existing portfolio of nutritional products remains compliant across a complex and diverse global regulatory landscape. You will be a key partner in navigating the unique requirements of different countries, from the FDA in the U.S. to Health Canada and beyond.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners, use your expertise to interpret and apply regulations, and help maintain the integrity of our products on a global scale. This position involves frequent communication with colleagues around the world via Microsoft Teams and requires a keen ability to manage projects across different time zones.
Day to day, you will be:
- Reviewing product labels for foods, powders, and tablets to ensure they meet the specific requirements of different countries.
- Researching and interpreting regulations from bodies like the FDA and global regulatory bodies to solve compliance puzzles.
- Collaborating heavily with the global team and other departments via Microsoft Teams, often across different time zones.
- Working within internal company systems (like PLM) to manage product information and documentation.
Required qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Food Science, Biology, Chemistry).
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a CPG environment, with at least one year in a regulatory or quality function.
- Experience working with FDA regulations and an understanding of cGMP principles.
- Familiarity with the food, beverage, or dietary supplement industry.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with a global team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially when navigating complex or contradictory regulations.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensuring compliance.
- Experience with Health Canada regulations is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in a second language is a valuable asset.
- A background in quality engineering or auditing is highly beneficial.
