What Do We Need:

 

We are seeking a Research Investigator to play a key role in developing and substantiating product claims for Amway’s skincare, personal care, and home care portfolio. This position involves conducting scientific literature reviews, designing and refining claims strategies, and identifying the most effective substantiation methods to support Amway’s special product portfolio that sets us apart in the marketplace. The role also oversees and executes third-party clinical studies for skin testing, partnering closely with product development teams to deliver innovative, science-backed products to the market.

From early discovery and claims ideation through clinical testing and launch support, you will have end-to-end impact on the product journey.

 

You’ll collaborate with diverse global teams, influence strategic decisions, and explore future skincare technologies that drive growth. The role balances independent research with cross-functional collaboration and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. If you thrive on connecting science to real-world outcomes, this position offers both challenge and opportunity to make your mark. This is an onsite role, requiring Monday – Thursday onsite, with Fridays’s optional.

 

Required qualifications:

  • MS or PhD desired in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related scientific discipline
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years’ experience in research and/or clinical investigation in beauty, skin care, personal care or home care industry

 

Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Experience in research & experimental methods, including data analysis and interpretation
  • Experience in clinical studies design
  • Talent to interpret scientific information, to end user, in easy-to-understand manner
  • Interpersonal skills to influence and inspire both internal and external audiences
  • Experience with Skincare and Nutrition helpful
