What do we need:

The ABO Product Engineering COE (Centre of Excellence) product team is seeking a Business System Analyst to assist in the design, development and support of a ABO Incentive design and calculation application to be used across Amway globally.

The delivery team working on the ABO Product Engineering COE is responsible for building cutting edge cloud technologies within our ABO Ecosystem. This delivery team is part of a larger team of software developers and systems analysts with a mix of both internal employees and outside industry experts. This team thrives on collaboration and working together to create the best solutions possible to support our Amway Business Owners across the globe. This team is a self-managed, hardworking group of high achievers that has been working very closely with the regional initiative across the globe providing all ABO Incentive capabilities. This role reports up through the Manager of ABO Product Engineering COE. 

 

What’s special about this role: 

As a Senior IT System Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the team to implement the future state technologies for the ABO Ecosystem using Agile methodologies for delivering results. This environment promotes frequent collaboration with your teammates. You will be doing mainly business process analysis. You’ll work to build out the ABO Product Engineering COE roadmap/requirements and assist in the creation of Prototypes to evaluate new solutions for market-specific functionality.

 

Daily, you will:

  • Partner with stakeholders on learning the business and ways to make a difference to our customers
  • Partner with other Developers to increase their knowledge of existing business processes
  • Document existing business requirements and the acceptance criteria to meet business needs
  • Update the team on your accomplishments and daily goals in the morning Stand-up meeting
  • Acts as the focal point for resolution of design issues and gaps in the solution
  • Works with business teams to identify and solution regional and local requirements within the context of the standard global business model
  • Participates in solution governance process testing and approval of solution changes and enhancements
  • Manages the day-to-day functional design for Bonus Incentive Solution process within the ABO Success Solutions ensuring strategic fit with the future direction of the business
  • To assist you in doing all of this, you will be given access to all the necessary and common development and collaboration tools. You will also go through a class to teach you the business rules and the ABO Ecosystem if necessary. You’ll do a lot of the heavy development lifting in this role. Some of the technologies you will have access to are Requirements Management Solutions, JIRA, or other Agile software
  • Participates in meetings, discussions, strategy sessions where changes, improvements, and enhancements are proposed, evaluated, and approved
  • Actively engage with business partners, process owners and partner systems to clarify and define their business needs and translate those needs into technology solutions

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience analyzing and understanding user stories to design solutions that will be implemented using globalized systems based on individual market and global needs
  • Experience with providing hyper-care support for deployed solution which includes but not limited to troubleshooting, incidents, performance testing, end user error and ongoing regular maintenance support
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle database or SQL
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Technology or Business
  • Requirements Management Solutions, JIRA, or other Agile software
  • Knowledge of sales order management and payments process is a plus
