We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join a team that is focused on creating best-in-class web and mobile products for our marketing and services teams. These products will power digital engagement and care experiences for Amway Business Owners (ABO) and Customers. You’re an experienced software engineer with a passion for craftmanship, quality, and owning products holistically. You strive to enable others around you to do their best work.
Team:
The Customer Engagement and Digital Marketing Technology team develops products and services that span the following areas:
- Amway Communications Platform (Transactional and Marketing Automation, CRM, Lead Management, In-App Messaging)
- Content At Scale (Asset and Content Management Systems)
- Customer Services and Care (Self-Help, Service Solutions, Social Care & Listening)
- Customer Registration and Profile Management
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related experience with 12+ years of industry experience.
- A solid grasp of CI/CD with comprehensive experience creating automated quality, performance, and security testing within the pipeline.
- Experience with designing for observability and resiliency.
- Significant experience leading large, complex development efforts (scalable, distributed, multiple layers) consisting of geographically disbursed team members.
- Passion for mentoring other software engineers.
- Proven examples of identifying, recommending, and implementing technolgy advancements.
- Full-stack software development experience. Ideally, this includes experience with API services (REST, GraphQL), event-driven architecture, and concepts such as guaranteed delivery.
- Experience in AWS cloud technologies is a plus.
