Job Title: Manufacturing Technician, 1st Shift

Department / Division: Granulation Plant / Manufacturing

Location: Buena Park, CA


What’s special about this job:

The Granulation Plant manufactures both granulations & probiotic products for our Nutrilite Brand, including our top selling product. The Granulation plant runs 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, requiring Technicians to work four 9.5-hour shifts per week. The schedule for this position is 6:15AM – 4:15PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. As a Manufacturing Technician in the plant, you will be part of a collaborative team, learning all aspects of the operation. This role will have opportunity for career progression with a skill development system that allows for multiple avenues to promotion.


How you would contribute to the role:


In this role, you will learn the granulation and/or probiotic processes – including but not limited to weighing & prepping the product, setting up & running the granulation/packaging/probiotic equipment, performing quality testing, and cleaning/sanitizing all equipment. You will assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials and schedules. Since this is a GMP regulated plant, it will be important to complete and maintain all required records and documentation. Over time, as you develop in your career, you may be asked to train other team members on proper standards/procedures and will be expected to provide feedback to team members.

  • Prior experience with manufacturing food products, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, or working in cGMP environment is a plus
  • This plant manufactures products containing food allergens including but not limited to milk, soy, sesame seeds, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat / gluten, fish, shellfish, and egg.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • High School diploma
