Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Review and process PO and non PO invoices, resolve discrepancies, ensure coding accuracy.
  • Perform AP close activities and reconciliations.
  • Support AP processes set up for new entities transitioned to GBS Kraków
  • Cooperate effectively with local stakeholders and other GBS teams (RtR, Cash Management et al.)
  • Act as a subject matter resource for AP procedures; support onboarding and upskilling of team members.
  • Enforce internal controls (SoD, approvals, documentation) and compliance with company policy and local regulations.
  • Maintain up to date desktop procedures and contribute to governance reviews
  • Proactively Identify root cause analysis of repetitive problems, propose actions to eliminate/reduce future issues in cooperation with external and internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the Procure to Pay process and propose necessary improvements, including AP Transformation Roadmap
  • Track and respond to available KPI measurements, and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Handle escalation addressed by process owners for non-adherence within processes and develop solution plan and preventive measures

 

 

Required Knowledge & Skills and/or Related Experience:

  • University Degree in Finance/ Accounting
  • 2-3 years of related experience 
  • Excellent understanding of AP accounting principles and processes
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Very good language skills in English, Russian and Ukrainian
  • High level of functional knowledge and understanding of end-to-end PtP processes, and existing technology solutions
  • Global IT system knowledge and experience (e.g., Oracle, JDE, 1C etc.)
  • Experience in process improvement/project management
  • Self-reliant, proactive, and with high skills to prioritize own tasks
  • Communication skills – ability to communicate a global vision, yet detail oriented, ability to liaise between business and technology teams
  • Change management and process excellence approach

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
