Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services.
  • Build and support RESTful APIs, backend services, and event-driven solutions.
  • Develop solutions utilizing AWS services and serverless technologies.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and assist in root cause analysis for production incidents.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Architects, and other technology teams.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Support CI/CD initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Participate in production support activities and on-call rotations after appropriate training and onboarding.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Core Technologies

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience working with cloud-based applications and services.
  • Understanding of event-driven and microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed systems.

Experience or exposure to the following AWS services is preferred:

  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS CDK / AWS SDK
  • Amazon Neptune (Gremlin)
  • DynamoDB
  • Kinesis
  • SQS
  • SNS
  • API Gateway
  • Step Functions
  • CodeBuild / CodePipeline
  • CloudWatch

Testing

  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
  • Familiarity with Jest or similar testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices.

Agile Collaboration Tools
