Business Partnership & Requirements Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for new ABO compensation and bonus initiatives as well as changes to existing incentive programs.
• Analyze compensation plan documentation and evaluate the business and system impacts of proposed incentive plan changes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to map business processes, data flows, and technology needs, and contribute to the business case for proposed solutions.
• Support demand intake, prioritization, and quarterly planning by assessing feasibility, effort, risk, and downstream impact of requested work.
• Communicate analysis findings, options, trade-offs, and risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Solution Design & System Analysis

• Translate business requirements into functional designs, use cases, process flows, and detailed schematics of transaction and business flows.
• Perform analysis on initiatives spanning multiple systems, affiliates, and business disciplines within the MAGIC and BonusCalc ecosystem.
• Model and validate data structures and calculation logic, using SQL and analytical tooling to confirm accuracy of bonus and incentive outcomes.
• Perform configuration of application capabilities to meet business requirements where custom engineering is not required.
• Contribute to integration design, including event-driven and API-based patterns that enable scalable, loosely coupled capabilities.
• Partner with architects, product owners, and senior analysts on solution design, design approach, estimating, and planning.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business need through design, build, test, and release.

Delivery Execution

• Operate as an embedded member of the agile delivery team, contributing to backlog refinement, story definition, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and estimation.
• Support planning, prioritization, and delivery, balancing enhancement work against production support demand.
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and issues early so that blockers to delivery are removed.
• Partner with global team members, vendors, and cross-market teams across time zones to coordinate analysis, share domain knowledge, and apply consistent delivery practices and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and platform capabilities through the application of technology solutions.
• Participate in the adoption and continuous improvement of corporate IT processes.

Quality, Reliability & Production Support

• Plan and execute validation procedures, including test strategy input, test case design, and user acceptance testing, to confirm that solutions satisfy documented requirements.
• Apply testing standards and continuous integration and continuous delivery discipline in partnership with software engineers.
• Provide level 3 production support, performing root cause analysis on incidents and supporting corrective and preventive action.
• Support incident, problem, change, and release management practices, including Change Advisory Board processes and disciplined production deployment.
• Contribute to performance and resiliency validation so that solutions meet availability, accuracy, and scalability expectations.

Security & Compliance

• Apply secure-by-design principles throughout the delivery lifecycle, including analysis of access controls, data handling, and vulnerability remediation requirements.
• Uphold enterprise-aligned data protection and data governance controls, including privacy-by-design, safeguarding of personally identifiable information, and secure data access patterns across BonusCalc services and events.

AI-Enabled Analysis, Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Apply AI-enabled tooling responsibly to accelerate analysis, documentation, test generation, and incident investigation, within enterprise AI usage policies and human-in-the-loop review standards.
• Maintain requirements, design, and configuration documentation, and support documentation governance and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Stay informed of developments within the business, the direct selling industry, and technology trends, and recommend improved tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Contribute to key performance indicators used to baseline and measure product improvements within BonusCalc.
