Primary Responsibilities

 

  1. Compliant Oversight
  • Ensure that ABO business activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee the implementation of business conduct policies and rules.

 

  1. Investigation, Reporting, and Resolution
  • Investigate alleged violations of business conduct policies and rules.
  • Collaborate and work closely with relevant departments, especially the Sales Department, to address and resolve conduct issues promptly and appropriately.
  • Prepare and submit reports on business conduct compliance to department manager and, if applicable, regulatory bodies.
  • Communicate compliance-related metrics and trends to relevant stakeholders.

 

  1. Unauthorised selling (for Singapore)
  • Leads and/or serving on cross functional teams focused in addressing unauthorised selling of Amway products on local and overseas markets.
  • Monitor, identifies and investigates local online eCommerce sellers for offering Amway product.
  • Take down actions on resellers thru removal of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
  • Support corporate counsel on legal related pursuit on eCommerce resellers.

 

  1. Data Analysis
  • Regular monitoring of ABO activities and analyzing sales data to identify unusual patterns, anomalies, and potential violations that could impact ABO sales and qualification.
  • Generate reports and present findings to the manager to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Work with the Sales team to address and correct any deficiencies or weaknesses identified during the analysis.
  • Act on the recommendations made by the risk audit team to enhance the organization's risk management processes.

 

  1. Communication, Education and Training
  • Continuously enhance and incorporate relevant business conduct and rules initiatives based on feedback, changes in the business environment, and emerging ethical considerations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate ABOs on best practices and sound business stewardship in alignment with the Amway Rules of Conduct and Amway Values.
  • Works with the Sales and Training Department as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program for ABO; including appropriate introductory training for employees.
  • Promote Amway values of ethics, business conduct policies, and rules to employees and ABO.

 

  1. Digital Communication Standards (DCS) and Quality Assurance Standards (QAS)
  • Establish and execute processes for monitoring and assessing ABO compliance.
  • Ensuring that standards are clear, concise, and easily understandable by the target audience.

 

  1. Social Assurance Standards (SAS)
  • Review ABO mentions across identified social media platforms and take appropriate remedial actions if necessary.
  • Identify and address potential negative sentiments or emerging issues.
  • Analyze and derive insights from social media conversations and prepare reports.

 

  1. Legal Compliance
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting business conduct.
  • Ensure that policies and practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.

 

  1. Others
  • Respond and follow up on Helpdesk inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned or directed by the Head of BCR or Country Manager of Singapore.
