Job Title:                             Team Leader - Warehouse

What do we need:

We are looking to hire a Team Lead to support our NBC Warehouse Team and Operations. 


What’s special about this team:

The Quincy Plant is responsible for the extraction and concentration of nutrients for our Nutrilite Brand. The Quincy Plant runs 24 hours a day, six days a week. In this role you will be on a team tasked with supporting our manufacturing strategy focused on safely delivering a consistent supply of cost competitive, quality products to our customers worldwide through our warehouse operations.


The Warehouse Team Leader is tasked with leading their team in career progression and skill development in the work area.  This position will require the employee to be available Monday through Friday with the department determining which days will comprise the work week based upon production and scheduling demands.


This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with internal and external supply chain partners as operation and production volumes vary throughout the year. What’s special about this role:

As Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day work of your team. In addition to leading them, you will also work on future growth opportunities for the plant. Shift flexibility will be an expectation for this role as the role is primarily a day shift role which supports a 24-hour facility.


You will coach, mentor, and support your team. You will also provide training, motivation, and feedback to team members.  You will be responsible for shift assignments and staffing.  In addition to maintaining performance standards and conducting reviews and participating in talent discussion, you will also set the example for modeling team behaviors. You will demonstrate empathy, effectively deal with existing or potential conflicts at the individual and group level and recognize and encourage team members. 


From an operational standpoint, you will focus on providing a safe work environment that delivers quality products. You will have the opportunity to solve problems daily and make an immediate impact on the business. The passion for leadership you bring to this plant will allow you to demonstrate transformative results in a dynamic work environment. You will be the leader of an exciting team and responsible for highly impactful operational results.


Required qualifications:

  • Prior leadership experience, in either a formal or informal setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor, provide feedback, and handle conflict management
  • Associate degree, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred


Skills to be successful in the role:

  • Prior experience in a regulated environment is a plus
  • Prior experience leading a project or making a positive impact to a business result
  • Ability to work with cross functional partners
  • Proficient with MS Office, and having the ability to pick up ERP systems, including JDE, DSI Mobile and dcLink
